Our Blue Team won by a score of 17-13. The gray team came back at the end and made a game out of it. The players tried hard. Nerves get the best of them sometimes, but I could see improvement during the game. Game setup, game operation, and umpiring are all new this year and things went very well. We are going to have a fun and entertaining season!
FBC-Garfield got the best of the Super Naturals in their first meeting of the season. It was sure a fun and exciting game.
This week will be an inter-squad game. Game time will be 6:00 pm. Athletes be at the field by 5:15 pm!
Our 2nd intra-squad game was not our best game but it ended excitingly. The gray team scored 6 runs ing the 6th inning to tie the score, then they held the gray team scoreless in the bottom of the 6th to end it in a tie.
The Super Naturals hosted The Benchmark Group in a fun exciting game! The Super Naturals hit the ball as well as ever! All the athletes hit the ball hard and well. It was fun to watch. The Super Naturals held on for a 25-16 win. The 2 teams will play again on Sept. 29th in Centerton.
In a back and forth game the gray team got hot at the end and pulled out a 16-12 win. The game started slow, but as the batters got going they hit the ball and ran the bases well. The defense is still not very good, but the offense is hitting the ball well!
Our athletes enjoy playing softball so much, and playing the Benchmark Group's Bombers is a double blessing! The Super Naturals gave their best effort again this week. Everyone hit the ball and ran so well! Our athletes really want to show off to the Benchmark Bombers! Thank you all so much for both games and your generous donation!
The game was back and forth and the blue team tied the game in the 5th inning, but the gray team scored a run in the bottom of the 5th to win it. It was a good and fun game again! Both teams hit the ball well at the end of the game!
This game was also back and forth until the end. The FBC team held the Super Naturals scoreless in the fourth and got the lead. In the 5th the Super Naturals held the FBC team just enough to keep the game with in 6 runs. The Super Naturals fought back to with in
22-19 but that was all we could do...except invite FBC to play us again next Week! So we did! FBC-Garfield versus Super Naturals III next week at 6:30 pm!
Our final game of the season was our 3rd with the FBC Garfield team! It was a fun game of back and forth with a couple ties thrown in! Some good hits and good defense made the game exciting! Thank you FBC Garfield for your support of the Super Naturals and how great you treat our athletes! Thank you Kurt for umpiring the games for us!
We teach people with disabilities to use their skills to play sports, to be a part of a team, to meet and get along with new people and to enjoy other activities.
We encourage them to be active.

The Super Naturals had a great time at the Special Olympics Summer Games! The weather was HOT and HUMID! Our Athletes performed very well! Friday was a long day of events. They could hardly wait for our dinner at Chili's, I think that got them through the day. They finished the day off with a dance in the park! Thank you all for supporting our program! Our success depends on the support from our donors, our staff, and our athletes!
GO SUPER NATURALS!
